Job Summary
The Sales Manager for Insulation Panels is responsible for overseeing and driving the overall sales strategy and performance of insulation panel products within a designated market. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional sales acumen, and deep industry knowledge to effectively manage a team of sales representatives and achieve sales targets.
Job Details
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets for insulation panel products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including generating leads, prospecting, and building relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
- Manage and coach a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure the alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential threats and opportunities, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, new products, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company's insulation panel products and establish strategic partnerships.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence in the company's CRM system.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the insulation panel industry or a related field like roofing, pre-engineered buildings etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering – preferably Civil or Mechanical with marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and develop a sales team.
- Deep understanding of insulation panel products, technical specifications, installation techniques, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical abilities to analyze market trends, customer needs, and sales performance data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to accomplish sales goals.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasive skills to close deals and overcome objections.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools to manage customer relationships and drive sales productivity.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and sales training as needed.
