Job Summary

The Sales Manager for Insulation Panels is responsible for overseeing and driving the overall sales strategy and performance of insulation panel products within a designated market. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional sales acumen, and deep industry knowledge to effectively manage a team of sales representatives and achieve sales targets.

Job Details

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets for insulation panel products. 
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including generating leads, prospecting, and building relationships with key decision-makers in the industry. 
  3. Manage and coach a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. 
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure the alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives. 
  5. Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential threats and opportunities, adjusting sales strategies accordingly. 
  6. Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations. 
  7. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. 
  8. Stay up to date with industry developments, new products, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers. 
  9. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company's insulation panel products and establish strategic partnerships. 
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence in the company's CRM system. 

 

 

Requirements

Requirements: 

  1. Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the insulation panel industry or a related field like roofing, pre-engineered buildings etc.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering – preferably Civil or Mechanical with marketing, or a related field is preferred
  3. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and develop a sales team. 
  4. Deep understanding of insulation panel products, technical specifications, installation techniques, and industry regulations. 
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. 
  6. Strong analytical abilities to analyze market trends, customer needs, and sales performance data to inform strategic decision-making. 
  7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to accomplish sales goals. 
  8. Exceptional negotiation and persuasive skills to close deals and overcome objections. 
  9. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools to manage customer relationships and drive sales productivity. 
  10. Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and sales training as needed.
