Job Summary

The Sales Manager – Non-Food Consumer Goods will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence across the plastics, paper, textiles & shoe, diapers, and mattress industries. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets through effective market penetration and customer engagement.

Job Details

 

  • Drive sales growth across the non-food consumer goods segment
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the plastics, paper, textiles & shoe, diapers, and mattress industries
  • Manage relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and key industrial customers
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities
  • Prepare and execute sales forecasts and business development plans
  • Ensure effective customer engagement and provide technical/commercial support where required
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements with clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor customer performance, market movement, and product demand trends
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and market intelligence updates
  • Ensure timely collections and adherence to company credit policies
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–8 years relevant sales experience in industrial raw materials, chemicals, or non-food consumer goods industries
  • Strong experience working with customers in plastics, paper, textiles & shoe, diapers, or mattress manufacturing industries
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and manage key accounts
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Good understanding of market trends and industrial sales processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively
  • Willingness to travel as required
