Job Summary
The Sales Manager – Non-Food Consumer Goods will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence across the plastics, paper, textiles & shoe, diapers, and mattress industries. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets through effective market penetration and customer engagement.
Job Details
- Drive sales growth across the non-food consumer goods segment
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the plastics, paper, textiles & shoe, diapers, and mattress industries
- Manage relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and key industrial customers
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities
- Prepare and execute sales forecasts and business development plans
- Ensure effective customer engagement and provide technical/commercial support where required
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements with clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Monitor customer performance, market movement, and product demand trends
- Prepare periodic sales reports and market intelligence updates
- Ensure timely collections and adherence to company credit policies
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–8 years relevant sales experience in industrial raw materials, chemicals, or non-food consumer goods industries
- Strong experience working with customers in plastics, paper, textiles & shoe, diapers, or mattress manufacturing industries
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and manage key accounts
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Good understanding of market trends and industrial sales processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively
- Willingness to travel as required
