Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities • Oversee the end-to-end operations of servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and on-prem/cloud workloads to ensure availability, security, and optimal performance. • Provide leadership and oversight to infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure operational excellence across the group. • Enforce organizational cybersecurity standards, policy compliance, and continuous awareness across all technical teams. • Supervise configuration, deployment, monitoring, decommissioning of obsolete infrastructure and lifecycle management of network switches, routers, access points, and wireless infrastructure across all sites. • Ensure telephony systems (IP PBX, SIP gateways, VoIP endpoints) are properly managed, optimized, and integrated into the enterprise network. • Oversees Direct the administration and security of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPN gateways, and secure remote access technologies. • Ensure CCTV surveillance systems—including NVRs, DVRs, IP cameras, and storage retention—are fully operational, monitored, and maintained in line with security policies. • Oversee biometric implementation, access control systems, ensuring accurate enrolment, reliable device functionality, auditability, and integration with identity systems. • Approve and supervise planned maintenance, firmware upgrades, hardware refreshes, Patch updates and configuration changes for servers, switches, firewalls, access points, and surveillance infrastructure. • Conduct risk assessments, rollback planning, testing validation, and post-implementation reviews for all changes within the IT infrastructure • Ensure all upgrades follow the change management standards and do not disrupt operational environments. • Enforce strict security baselines for servers, firewalls, network devices, CCTV systems, and telephony equipment. • Supervise vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on servers, network equipment, and security appliances, ensuring timely remediation. • Ensure real-time monitoring of critical systems including servers, switches, wireless access points, CCTV networks, firewalls, and biometric devices are integrated on the SIEM solution and Privileged Access Mgt. solutions • Oversee timely incident triage, escalation, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for infrastructure and security events. • Lead disaster recovery planning and testing for server infrastructure, network backbone, telephony systems, and critical security devices. • Ensure RTO/RPO objectives are met and continuity procedures are updated across all IT infrastructure. • Maintain comprehensive documentation including server configurations, IP inventories, switch port mappings, VLAN matrices, firewall rulesets, CCTV topology, and access control records. • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Advanced degrees (MBA, MSc IT/IS) are an added advantage.
• Relevant Certifications as listed below:
- Microsoft Azure Administrator / Azure Solutions Architect
- Microsoft 365 Certified (Administrator, Security, Teams)
- ITIL v4 (Foundation or Intermediate)
- CCNA / CCNP
- Security Certifications (CompTIA Security+, CYSA+, CEH, ISO27001 Lead Implementer)
• Knowledge on Firewall, Switches, Access Points, Telephony, UPS, CCTV, NAC solution (NPS, Cisco ISE)
• Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO
• Server monitoring, provisioning, patching, DR and security hardening
• LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs
• Minimum 7–10 years hands-on experience in IT Operations.
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial/supervisory role managing technical teams.
• Proven experience supporting multi-site operations.
